Full-discipline MEP engineering: mechanical, electrical & plumbing design.

From schematic design through construction administration, MEHA delivers coordinated building-systems engineering - sized for performance, code compliance and constructability.

MEP / FP design

Mechanical & HVAC

We design heating, cooling and ventilation systems to suit the architect’s and owner’s requirements: cooling-load and heating-load calculations, central plant and equipment selection, air distribution and ductwork, hydronic piping, and the controls sequences that tie it together - balanced for energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

Electrical & Lighting

Complete power and lighting design: service entrance and distribution, panelboards and feeders, utility coordination and electrical paralleling, interior and site lighting, and life-safety systems - documented for reliability, code compliance and clean coordination with the other trades.

Plumbing

Plumbing systems designed for every building type: domestic hot and cold water, sanitary and storm drainage, natural gas, and specialty piping - sized, routed and coordinated to serve the program without conflict above the ceiling or in the walls.

For architects & owners
An MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) engineering firm designs the building systems that make a structure habitable and code-compliant - HVAC, power and lighting, and plumbing - serving as the consulting engineer of record alongside the architect and owner.
MEHA is based in Norcross, Georgia and serves architects, developers and owners throughout the United States, with completed projects in 15+ U.S. states.
It’s a collaborative process. MEHA designs the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems around the architect’s interior design; once our drawings are complete and stamped, the architect uses them to permit the project and the contractor handles the physical construction. If questions come up with the design - or issues arise on site - they contact us to work through alternatives.
Yes. MEHA’s work is led and sealed by registered Professional Engineers with multi-state licensure, and principals stay personally engaged from schematic design through construction administration.
MEHA designs MEP systems for a range of commercial and institutional projects - including automotive dealerships, hospitality, education and warehouse facilities. Project fit depends on scope and discipline, and we’re glad to talk through your specific building type.
MEP engineering fees depend on building type, size, system complexity and project phase. MEHA scopes each project individually and provides a fixed or percentage-of-construction fee proposal after reviewing the project requirements - and our fees are typically significantly more competitive than larger firms doing comparable work.
