MEHA Engineering, Inc. (“MEHA Engineering,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) consulting engineering services. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our website at meha.intellimark.net (the “Site”).

We have intentionally built this Site to collect as little information as possible. We do not use analytics software, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or first-party cookies set by our own code.

2. Information we collect

Information you send us by email. Our Site does not include a form that submits data to us over the internet. When you use the contact button, your own email program opens a new message addressed to us, which you compose and send yourself. We receive only the information you choose to include — typically your name, email address, and your message.

Information your browser sends automatically. Like any website, our hosting server may log standard technical request data (such as IP address, date and time, and the page requested) for security and operation. We do not use these logs to profile or identify visitors.

Third-party map content. We embed a Google Maps view of our office, gated behind your consent. When that map loads, your browser contacts Google directly, and Google may receive your IP address and set cookies under Google's own policy. See our Cookie Policy.

Images and fonts. Photographs are loaded from Unsplash's servers; fonts are served from our own server.

We do not knowingly collect precise geolocation, biometric data, payment card data, or special categories of personal data through the Site.

3. How we use information

We use information you email us only to read and respond to your inquiry, to discuss engineering services you ask about, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We use server logs only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

4. Legal bases (EEA / UK visitors)

If you are in the EEA or UK, our legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR are your own initiative and/or consent when you email us, our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and keeping the Site secure, and legal obligations where records must be retained.

5. Third parties

• Email — inquiries reach us through our email provider.
• Google Maps — provided by Google LLC; may set cookies when loaded. See policies.google.com/privacy.
• Unsplash — serves images your browser requests. See unsplash.com/privacy.
• Hosting — the Site runs on a server operated by or for MEHA Engineering.

6. Retention and security

We keep the emails you send for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and maintain reasonable business records. Server logs are retained only as long as useful for security and operations. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information in our control.

7. Your choices and rights

You can reach us at dlu@mehaeng.com to ask what correspondence we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Because we do not set advertising cookies, sell personal information, or run analytics, many tracking-related choices do not apply on this Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

The only personal information we obtain through the Site is what you voluntarily email us and standard server-log data. We do not sell or share your personal information, do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not profile you. California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information by emailing us with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line.

9. EEA / UK residents (GDPR)

You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. MEHA Engineering is established in the United States; information you send is processed there.

10. Children's privacy

This is a business-to-business marketing site not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK).
